The recent news hysteria regarding “action to be taken” behind the terrorist attacks have left me confused.

India says it has given enough proof to Pakistan about the act being planned and people involved from there. Whereas Pakistan does a flip-flop, keeps changing their statements like they were changing clothes.

Pakistan answer to India’s statement is that the investigation is still on and they will act once the probe is over. I am wondering who is carrying out the investigations, India or Pakistan??

In the midst of all this, there are talks of a war being carried out. With Pakistan doing little to help itself and other nations, it says it will retaliate, if India attacks terrorist camps.

The international community has been of little help. India is on its own; mulling over the actions that would make Pakistan act. While little can be said about the Pakistan government, as its the military and the militants that rule the country. It chooses to disown its own citizen Kasab (which has been proved by the press, to have his name on the electoral list of Pakistan), making India take a hard stance.

As the debate still continues, news channels prefer to make every statement that comes out as ”Breaking News” from both the sides. While all this goes on, I am waiting for an outcome from both the sides to weaken terrorism. As of now I am taking a sabbatical from the news channels which just keep on building up the ante.
